Boston Shark
i have once again landed in a screwed up position in which i finished a night shift being the only person deprived of his rest break of about 1 hour to stem the fatigue and frustration. Reason being the ABSENCE of reason and tactfulness of a certain colleague who is allergic to work. I never knew the day will come so soon whereby It seems to be morally and ethically principled to do only within your scope of work and IF circumstance forces you to work a little bit more you are automatically inclined to do one of two things :
1. Make EVERYONE know you are doing more work than usual and of course fight to gain credit for it. ( In the process reminding everyone past instances of certain people slipping up in any way possible to make themselves look good at the expense of others )
2. Scream like hell. ( and make other people do it… it’s highly convenient when you’re a ranked personnel and have others below you)
Actually, besides my respect for that particular individual i also learned that enough is sometimes enough. And what a better opportunity to justify a temper when it’s 6 am in the morning so… I screamed like hell too. Bringing up all the contempt and silent subservience i’ve endured all these while.
Anyway there is no right and wrong in this matter but i’m really glad my higher ups explained to me that they understand and know what is happening.
I managed to squeeze in like about 2-3 hours of sleep back at home and this occuring headache is really pissing me off. I feel like i’m on fire and that my head has this bomb that is ticking down to explodom. I think this feeling is tantamount to being pregnant or probably the closest men will ever come. Your feet gets all clammy and cold, your palms are sweaty for no apparent reason, you can feel your heart is pounding against your ribs and you think it’s going to stop any minute because it seems to be working so hard. Your throat gets all raspy and itchy, your stomach gets bloated and you lose your appetite, your brain feels like someone is using a power drill on it; drilling past all the neurons and the cerebrum, you naturally frown and get easily hot and bothered.
6 months down. 10 more months of this to go.
On a less depressing note i’m watching this new drama series. Breaking new grounds by having our protagonist, James Wood, as a District Attorney and a prosecutor, hunting down our fair share of misfits and serving up some fine acting competition for James spader as Allan Shore( pic below : Right) in BOSTON LEGAL.
They are both so good that on multiple occasions you can actually forget that they are actors and even if you didn’t, you’ll question if they attended law school prior to this gig.
” WHAT?!”Yes. They’re that good. and since allan shore is mostly a defence attorney we the citizens would pray and hope for a clash between both shark and shore. And i shall call that episode Boston Shark.

Considering those are two of the two things I really wanted since eons back i must say i am really delighted =P muahhahahaha i shall fiddle with my ipod touch for hours and hours.
Costly purchases… but justified nevertheless. Since local retailers seem to be the only few to NOT notice the dipping US dollar and adjust their prices accordingly why not use this opportune opportunity to make a few purchases over-the-seas and take full advantage of the exchange rate. =)
Why get them anyway since it’s still so expensive despite the few dollars u can save on shipping and currency-exchange you ask?
This should not serve as a cheap promotional advertisement for both products but…
Firstly, since my 2gig nano finally ran out of space and since i was using it for almost like what? 3 years? its time for an upgrade. Moreover, on a much more important note… it’s so style la. AND i listen to much more music now… doesn’t that automatically justify my purchase since it’s an elite mp4 player?
Secondly, the chrome… from the buckle to the label to their high-end material assembly to their durability to their shoulder padding to their colour co-ord… it just oozes cool. and being the shallow immature and trendgrabbing person that i really am i just have to have it. =)
O life is meaningful and good again. And i don’t have to kill myself anymore. The Joy!
